Adriatic GreeNet-ETS is an international network of environmental and cultural associations and individuals, founded in 2005 with its official headquarters in Gradisca di Isonzo in the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region / Italy.
Main objectives are the promotion and protection of:
Adriatic GreeNet-ETS promotes, at local and international level, sustainable development policies based on the protection of biodiversity, as well as the combination of natural, human, social and cultural elements, equality between men and women and public participation.
One of the activities of Adriatic GreeNet-ETS, which started in 2011 in cooperation with the UNESCO Club of Udine, (a member of the Italian National Federation of UNESCO Clubs), is the organization and implementation of a self-financed project of international volunteer camps called "I Care for..." in several small towns with specific historical, cultural and natural values in four countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy and Serbia) because these places are very important for a better understanding of our common European cultural heritage and deserve to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site or are already under UNESCO protection.
This project was the basis for the official establishment of the Cultural Network of Small European Towns "I Care for Europe" in December 2013, whose member municipalities and cities are included in the EUHERITAGE project.
